  Green, Blue

I try to bring the audience’s own drama - tears and laughter they know about - to them.

~Frances Ethel Gumm, aka Judy Garland

A story must have an end. If not – it is a soap opera. I have nothing against soap operas, I just don’t like them. Thus, when someone blamed me with “grandiose sweetness” claiming I could hardly write anything else, I decided to define the opportunity as a challenge and respond with a final chapter of “embellished bitterness”. The someone was right – took me some time to find the correct pitch. But once found, it was so simple to ache...

Still, I prefer the “grandiose sweetness”.
